In Luxembourg:

  • The Minister of Health, Paulette Lenert, added that 6 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Luxembourg, while a further 14 are in hospital. Around 750 people are being tested each day.
  • The cost of saving the economy will be 'explosive' according to the Minister for Labour, Dan Kersch, but small businesses and independent workers will be supported, no matter what.
  • It was announced that Luxembourg's Findel airport would close to passengers as of Monday.
  • The number of trains and buses in circulation will be reduced.

The latest international developments are as follows:

  • Worldwide figures stand at 236,420 infections, with 9,790 deaths and 84,962 recoveries. You can find detailed statistics here.
  • Iran announced 149 new fatalities, although the number of new cases in the country has fallen.
  • There was further chaos at the borders of Central Europe, as the situation in Hungary was labelled a 'corona hellbox.'
