As authorities urge the public to stay at home, the number of train and bus services will be reduced accordingly.
RGTR buses will cease to operate on Sundays, starting this weekend.
Thirty other bus services will be reduced from Monday onward.
The CFL will also adapt the frequency of trains, starting on Thursday. A new timetable was published on Wednesday night for Thursday and Friday, with just one train an hour serving line 10 to Gouvy and line 30 to Trier.
From Friday, no more TGV services will arrive at or depart from Luxembourg Central station. All TGV services from Paris to southern France are cancelled until further notice. Customers with pre-purchased tickets are encouraged to contact the relevant train company (CFL or SNCF) to obtain a refund. As all CFL offices are closed to the public, customers are asked to make use of the CFL call centre instead.
