The Grand-Ducal regulation dated 18 March 2020 will allow selected economic and commercial activities to continue, while others must be closed.
The list of permitted businesses activities reads as follows:
- commercial stores which mainly sell food products,
- pharmacies,
- opticians,
- businesses that mainly sell animal feed,
- telecommunications service businesses,
- businesses that mainly sell hygiene products, washing and sanitary equipment,
- fuel and petrol station sales services,
- passenger transport activities,
- distributors and businesses specialising in medical and sanitary equipment,
- medical pedicure limited to medical, not cosmetic, care,
- press distribution businesses,
- financial and insurance institutions,
- postal services,
- dry cleaning and clothing cleaning services,
- funeral services,
- troubleshooting, repair, clearance and maintenance activities required for safety reasons.
