The Grand Ducale Palace was the official residence of Grand Duke Jean, and also the place from where he fulfilled his duties as Head of State for 36 years.
Flags are at half mast today, and Luxembourg is in national mourning. The funeral of Grand Duke Jean will take place on May 4th at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Luxembourg.
