According to police, a suspected car-tuning gathering involving more than 100 vehicles took place on the Arlon motorway and in the border area near Sterpenich on Saturday evening.

Queues stretching for hundreds of metres formed in places caused disruption and congestion on the A6. Officers on the scene noticed one car in particular due to reckless driving and the car being fitted with a blue light.

Following a closer inspection, numerous other illegal modifications to the vehicle were revealed, which then was seized on the orders of the public prosecutor's office. Luxembourg police were deployed alongside their Belgian counterparts.
