In Luxembourg:

  • 24 Luxembourgish tourists managed to escape Cuba only hours before the Caribbean island shut its borders.
  • Two further patients from France arrived in the Grand Duchy, as it emerged that Luxembourg ranks in the top five countries in the world for tests per capita.

In Tuesday's international developments:

  • The neighbouring Grand Est region of France has been hit hard by the crisis, causing authorities to set up a military field hospital in Mulhouse.
