• The government created a new platform to recruit qualified healthcare workers during the crisis.

• LuxExpo in Kirchberg has been transformed into a medical facility. 

• A behind-the-scenes video was released of the Ministry of Health's COVID-19 logistics unit.

• Epidemiologist Joël Mossong estimated that current government measures might last another 6-12 weeks.

• Angela Merkel tested negative for the virus after going into self-isolation, as Germany's rate of infections started to slow.

• In France, the State Council refused to implement a total confinement, despite the fact that over90,000 breaches of existing measures have been recorded already.

• A Taiwanese man was fined 1 million Taiwanese dollars (€30,000) for going clubbing while in mandatory self-isolation.

• The first case was reported in Rio de Janeiro's City of God favela, as panic over the coronavirus killed 23 in a Colombian prison.
