1. See official Queen tribute

What: High-octane rock show

Produced by Roger Taylor and Brian May themselves, Queen Extravaganza is the only official Queen tribute band, bringing a spectacular 90-minute show packed with 20 fan favourites, including We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions, Another One Bites the Dust, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Bohemian Rhapsody.

2. Hear Gavin James

What: Dublin singer-songwriter

Few singer-songwriters are so able to capture emotions of daily life like Dublin's Gavin James. Since busking and playing pubs he's been championed by Ed Sheeran and released several albums, building a loyal community of fans. Get ready for an intimate and emotional show.

3. Explore old vehicle collection

What: Cars, miniatures, spare parts and more
Where: LuxExpo, 10 Circuit de La Foire Internationale, 1347 Kirchberg

Find a multitude of antique vehicles at LuxExpo this weekend at the annual Autojumble. It's also a great place to find spare parts, meet sellers, hunt down specialist literature, miniatures and more.

4. Partake in Forest Days 2025

What: Workshops for kids

Our forests are magical places, filled with life and secrets, where countless plants and animals hide in its depths. But they're also vital for our lives. Join the Luxembourg Science Center to learn more about our "green lungs", what connects us to them, and how to protect them for the future.

5. Watch School of Rock

What: School band takes on battle of the bands

A legendary film for all fans of rock music and Jack Black. Dewey Finn, an amateur rock enthusiast, slyly takes up his friend's job by posing as a substitute teacher. Bearing no qualifications for it, he instead starts training the students to form a school band.

6. Dance to the blues

What: Blues tunes to groove your feet to
Where: Rotondes, 3 Pl. des Rotondes, 2448 Luxembourg

Duke’s Blues is a festival dedicated to Blues dancing and naturally, that includes amazing live music, social dance and groovy parties like the one with BluesShack held on 22 March at Rotondes. Songs include those by Etta James, Alberta Hunter, Muddy Waters, Nina Simone, and Lowell Fulson. Organised by Swing Dance Luxembourg.

7. Hear Kurdish ensemble Danûk

What: Tales of cultures and people
Where: Philharmonie, 1 Place de l'Europe, 1499 Luxembourg
When: Thursday, 20 March at 7.30pm – info & tickets

Danûk tells the story of a double resurrection. First, that of Kurdish musicians in exile, who fled the war in Syria, taking refuge in Istanbul where they built a new artistic future. But it is also the revival of a heritage lying dormant in the archives of Berlin and Vienna, brought back to life and to our ears, a music of incredible diversity, symbol of a pacified multicultural geographical area, placed centre stage at the Philharmonie.
