1. Cheer on Škoda Tour riders

The Škoda Tour de Luxembourg 2025, scheduled from 17-21 September, marks the 85th edition of this prestigious UCI ProSeries cycling event. Over five days, elite riders will navigate nearly 700 km across Luxembourg’s varied terrain, culminating in a grand finale at the iconic Château de Vianden. All details and maps here. 2. Hear cross-border jazz
What: Jazz at beautiful Kasemattentheater
Where: Kasemattentheater, 14 Rue du Puits, 2355 Luxembourg

The Bluebird Jazz Exchange returns for its second edition, uniting top musicians from Luxembourg and Germany on one stage. Saxophonist Maxime Bender and trumpeter Daniel Migliosi join forces with bassist Reza Askari and drummer Simon Morger for an evening of improvisation and cross-border dialogue. A night of international jazz at the Kasemattentheater. Reserve in advance.

3. Have an ABBA night

When glamour pop and catchy hits from this glittering world are put on stage, the legendary pop band ABBA really does come to life again. Come see the state-of-the-art technology that transports the original ABBA feeling into the present. From the costumes right down to the icons’ Swedish accent – every detail, no matter how small, is as authentic as possible.
4. Listen to the music of David Lynch's films

Step into the dreamlike world of David Lynch through the music that shapes his films and series. Curated by multi-instrumentalist David Coulter with a special line-up of guest artists (including Anna Calvi and Nick Cave collaborator Mick Harvey), the evening revisits iconic scores from Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet and more. An immersive tribute for fans of cinema’s most enigmatic soundscapes.

5. Join a soapbox race
What: Drive DIY soapbox cars through the streets
Where: Junglinster and Differdange

Race down the streets of Junglinster and Differdange with your homemade soapbox cars! The 19th edition of Soapbox is taking place on Saturday (Junglinster) and Sunday (Differdange), and both adults and children can join. Visit www.judiff.lu for registration and more information. 6. Hear Dope Lemon
What: Cinematic indie

Dope Lemon, the dreamy alter ego of Angus Stone, drifts into Luxembourg with his hazy mix of groove and nostalgia. Since Honey Bones, the project has built a cult following for its sun-soaked, cinematic soundscapes. His latest release Golden Wolf brings a bolder, more reflective mood – perfect for getting lost in.
7. Visit companies and institutions at open days

For 18 years, companies, local authorities and government organisations have opened their doors to the public to share their history, skills and story. Find all the participants of this year's edition here and come along for a visit. To date, over 458 companies have participated, attracting nearly 360,000 people.
