This weekend the Jardin de Wiltz transforms into its annual light spectacle, with lantern exhibitions and an artistic programme featuring concerts and performances. Malian artist Oumou Sangaré is taking to the Philharmonie stage for the first time, presenting her traditional, soulful, and rhythmic songs and taking us on a cinematic journey into her world. She is very much an activist as well, known for being a spokesperson for a female community that has been silenced for far too long. As she describes herself: "I speak out about all the things that are wrong about society."
