1. Vibe to Orchestra Baobab

Celebrate your weekend with Orchestra Baobab, marking its 50th anniversary at the Festival de Wiltz with new members, new songs with Afro-latin, funk and soul sounds from Senegal. Being one of the most dominant African bands of the 70s, Orchestra Baobab has recorded 20 albums and been touring the world. Dance the night away!
2. Partake in Luxembourg Pride Run
What: Supporting LGBTIQ+ associations

In its second year, the Luxembourg Pride Run is expected to welcome 3,500 runners and walkers across its 5km and 10km races from 7pm on Thursday. Participants can register on Place Guillaume II before 6.30pm for this sporting and festive event to celebrate diversity and inclusion. Part of the funds raised will be donated to LGBTIQ+ associations. It's also Luxembourg Pride this weekend in the city centre!

3. Watch England-Spain football final
What: Finals

The final match of the EUROs will be screened at Glacis on Sunday night. England are playing Spain after both teams beat The Netherlands and France, respectively. A magical clash with only one winner to take home the trophy. Is it coming home, or está volviendo a casa?

4. Visit second-hand bike market
What: Update your two-wheeler

Bikes are fast, healthy, and cool! But what if you don't have one? Come down to the second-hand bike market to find your new best friend, whether city bike or BMX. Extra bonus: you’ll find lots of new bike parts and accessories to pimp up your two-wheeler, so you’ll be seen in style when taking the road.

5. See a new performance at Mudam
What: Hanne Lippard piece

When: Saturday, 13 July and Sunday, 14 July at 4pm - info & tickets
The Contract is a newly commissioned performance by artist Hanne Lippard that deals with definitions, repetition and the question of responsibility. Access to the event, which is part of the “A Model” exhibition, both days at 4pm, is included in the entrance fee.

6. Visit summer cinema in Walferdange

The municipality of Walferdange is hosting an outdoor summer cinema with The Mario Bros Movie and Barbie on Thursday, Kung Fu Panda 4 and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire on Friday, and Cocorico on Saturday. Entry is free.

7. Hear Sam Smith

For the first time ever in Luxembourg, the inimitable Sam Smith is performing at LuxExpo. Smith’s hits include “Stay With Me” and “Writing’s on the Wall”, and he's definitely a pop act here to stay. Catch him live in the 'intimate-sized' open air venue in Luxembourg.
