1. Find rare pearls at disc fair

Vinyls, CDs, DVDs, cassettes and more are on sale at this weekend's disc fair at Rotondes. Over 50 exhibitors from France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands are taking part. Bring a tote bag, stroll through and maybe you'll discover your new favourite gem.

2. Get funky with Scary Pockets
Dive into a world of rhythmic grooves and soulful melodies as Scary Pockets take the stage at Rockhal. With their funkified covers they have captivated millions of viewers on YouTube and now boast 640,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Grab your tickets for a set list of well-known oldies and new hits, all coated in funk!
3. Burn away the winter
What: Folk tradition
Where: Local commune's hill
When: Sunday, 18 February after dusk
Huge crosses and even whole castles made out of wooden palettes are currently dotting Luxembourg's fields. On Sunday they'll be burned to the ground, in what to new residents may seem like an odd ritual. It's a Luxembourgish folk tradition to 'burn away' the winter and welcome in the new season. A lovely community event accompanied by drinks and snacks.

4. Hear electro techno at Kufa

French electronic producer Irène Drésel is in town this weekend with her sensual, hypnotic and sporty techno. Local act Foreigners are opening the show. You're in for a fun and wild ride!
5. See The Others
What: Nicole Kidman film

6. Discover Manga, Anime and Japan
What: Creative family event
Where: LuxExpo, 10 Circuit de La Foire Internationale
When: Saturday, 17 February between 10am-7pm and Sunday, 18 February between 10am-6pm - info & tickets
Discover the world of Manga, Anime, Japan and Pop Culture at LuxExpo. This is the place to meet mangaka guests from Japan, artists, cosplayers and likeminded individuals from all over Europe. There are over 200 exhibitor booths, and you can partake in karaoke, video games, Shiatsu, Japanese calligraphy and more.

7. Join Sea Shepherd clean-up day
What: Give back to nature
Where: Hëttermillen - Google Maps

The Luxembourg branch of the marine conservation activism organisation Sea Shepherd is organising a clean-up day in Stadtbredimus. Participants are invited to Hëttermillen at 10am on Sunday to help clean up the area and do some good to the environment. Bin bags will be distributed, but those who have gloves and trash pickers are invited to bring them along.
