1. Watch Women's World Cup Final

Due to the 10-hour time difference, watching many of the World Cup matches was a bit of a struggle. But the final between Spain and England is set for 12pm this Sunday! Together with the women's team of the Luxembourg Football Federation, everyone is invited to a public viewing at the Hall O in Differdange. Who will take home the trophy?

2. Visit free indie festival Kolla

3. Hear live acts outside Rotondes...

What: RnB, jazz-pop and hip hop

It's the last weekend of Rotondes' August festival Congés Annulés, which was (and still is) filled with great workshops, DJ sets, live gigs and film screenings. Three local acts, Edsun, Claire Parsons and Skibi, are taking to the stage as part of a live radio 100,7 programme. Enjoy a chilled drink on the patio while seeing these top acts perform three short sets.

5. Get ready for Schueberfouer!

After a few difficult years during the pandemic, Luxembourg City's annual fair is making a comeback starting 23 August - this Wednesday! From then until 11 September, all attractions will be open daily from noon to 1am. An impressive 211 fairground vendors - many from Luxembourg, France and Germany - will be present at the 681st edition of the Schueberfouer...here's our ultimate guide!

6. Watch Grease at open air cinema

7. Attend book readings for kids

Every day between 16 August and 2 September, a free reading session takes place besides the Cathedral in the City. Sometimes stories are in English, other times in German or French. On Friday, teenaged poetry slammers will present their stories, followed by fantasy storytelling in Luxembourgish on Saturday or a Manga Workshop in the afternoon.
