Due to the 10-hour time difference, watching many of the World Cup matches was a bit of a struggle. But the final between Spain and England is set for 12pm this Sunday! Together with the women's team of the Luxembourg Football Federation, everyone is invited to a public viewing at the Hall O in Differdange. Who will take home the trophy?

(Editor's note: the contest mentioned in the video has ended.)
2. Visit free indie festival Kolla
3. Hear live acts outside Rotondes...
It's the last weekend of Rotondes' August festival Congés Annulés, which was (and still is) filled with great workshops, DJ sets, live gigs and film screenings. Three local acts, Edsun, Claire Parsons and Skibi, are taking to the stage as part of a live radio 100,7 programme. Enjoy a chilled drink on the patio while seeing these top acts perform three short sets.
4. ...and dig into vinyl crates inside
Another event at Rotondes we simply can't miss in this week's agenda: Vinyl crate digging! Are you looking to add to your vinyl collection, or need to get rid of some records because your shelves are close to giving in? Find merch and music by local acts at Vide-Disques - Merch-O-Rama, Luxembourg’s first private music flea market.
5. Get ready for Schueberfouer!
After a few difficult years during the pandemic, Luxembourg City's annual fair is making a comeback starting 23 August - this Wednesday! From then until 11 September, all attractions will be open daily from noon to 1am. An impressive 211 fairground vendors - many from Luxembourg, France and Germany - will be present at the 681st edition of the Schueberfouer...here's our ultimate guide!
6. Watch Grease at open air cinema
Oh, a true classic - created 45 years ago already! While vacationing in Australia, Danny and Sandy indulge in a passionate love affair with each other. They part ways believing they will not see each other again but fate has other plans...
7. Attend book readings for kids
Every day between 16 August and 2 September, a free reading session takes place besides the Cathedral in the City. Sometimes stories are in English, other times in German or French. On Friday, teenaged poetry slammers will present their stories, followed by fantasy storytelling in Luxembourgish on Saturday or a Manga Workshop in the afternoon. Check the full programme in the link above.
