An orange flood alert for southern Luxembourg has prompted the FLF to postpone all league and cup matches originally set for Wednesday evening.

The Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF) has postponed all league and cup matches scheduled for Wednesday, 24 September, due to severe weather forecasts.

A total of eight matches from the 7th round of the league have been rescheduled for Wednesday, 1 October, at 8pm. The postponement also affects four preliminary round cup matches and one Division 1 game.

The decision comes as the southern half of the country has been placed under an orange flood alert, which is expected to last throughout the evening.
