Police officers carried out a large-scale operation last Friday, inspecting vacant houses in several Luxembourg City districts and checking five individuals found on site.

Police conducted a targeted operation last Friday, focusing on properties in Luxembourg City that are currently uninhabited. The aim was to enforce immigration laws and maintain a visible police presence.

According to a police report, officers inspected a total of 13 so-called squats across the districts of Hollerich, Gasperich, Limpertsberg, Kirchberg, and Ville Haute. During the operation, five people were questioned by police.

A total of 12 officers participated in the large-scale inspection.
