A WWII-era grenade found in Weiswampach was safely disposed of by Luxembourg's military on Friday.

On Friday afternoon at around 3.30pm, an unexploded grenade – believed to date back to World War II – was found in a field in Weiswampach.

The Luxembourg Army’s bomb disposal unit secured and removed the grenade. Authorities confirmed that the discovery posed no threat to residents or livestock at any time.
