The NETWORK, a professional women’s association in Luxembourg, will host a workshop titled ‘Women Rising: Assertive Communication’ on Wednesday 18 June at Amazon’s Lux18 offices in Kirchberg. The event, running from 6.30–9.30pm, aims to equip women with the tools to communicate clearly and confidently at home and in the workplace.
Led by facilitators Liz Parsons and Alexandra Neves, the interactive session will focus on identifying common barriers to assertive communication and developing strategies to overcome them. Participants will explore how to set boundaries, express needs effectively, and reduce emotional strain without damaging relationships.
The workshop also introduces the Fair Play Method, a framework for addressing the unequal distribution of emotional labour and mental load in family life. Attendees will receive practical tools to foster more equitable home dynamics and learn scripts for navigating challenging conversations.
The event is free for members of The NETWORK and costs €20 for non-members. Registration is available via Eventbrite.
The NETWORK is a long-standing association in Luxembourg that supports women in their personal and professional development through networking, events, and skill-building opportunities.
