In Luxembourg:

• Confirmed cases of coronavirus reached 798, and although 34 patients are in hospital with the new disease, no new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
  

• The Minister of Health Paulette Lenert held a press conference, in which she announced that the Rockhal and LuxExpo would be transformed into medical facilities.

• A temporary hospital with capacity for 100 beds has been built in 24 hours next to the CHL.

• Leudelange-based wholesaler Provençale blamed hoarding and panic-buying for its decision to raise prices on food.

• Rwanda imposed a nationwide shutdown, as the death toll in sub-Saharan Africa rose to 6.

• Millions of people in India are in lockdown, but fears of a second wave in Asia remain strong.
