
Luxembourg police were called to intervene in a series of incidents throughout Friday night.
The first occurred at around 1am in Kirchberg, where an individual gained unauthorised access to a private event and stole several items. Attendees detained the suspect until officers arrived, leading to an arrest.
An hour later, a brawl broke out in Ettelbruck, during which one person deployed pepper spray. Police arrived on the scene, but none of those involved wished to file a formal complaint.
Another altercation in Hamm resulted in the arrest of an individual who reportedly resisted police officers. Separately, in Howald, one person was detained for causing a disturbance at a bar, while another was arrested under similar circumstances on Place de la Constitution.
Throughout the night, officers responded to roughly a dozen physical altercations and approximately 40 noise-related complaints.
In Käerjeng, police intervened in a domestic violence case, locating an injured woman and the alleged perpetrator at the scene. The suspect was taken into custody, while the victim received medical attention at a nearby hospital.
Finally, authorities have opened investigations following reported break-ins in Cents, Pfaffenthal, Belair, and Diekirch.
