
The orange alert will be maintained until 11pm on Monday, while strong winds are expected to increase from 1pm on Sunday afternoon. The strongest gusts between 110 and 130 km/hour are expected in the second part of the night and early morning.
At the same time, heavy rainfall of 20-30 litres per square metre is possible on Sunday night.

The weather service has issued a warning of the risk of falling trees, damaged roofs and chimneys, and disturbed road traffic, especially in forest areas. It is recommended not to leave objects lying around outside, to limit movement, keep to a moderate speed when driving, exercise caution and not to walk in the forest.

Flights LG4595/4596 and 4603/4604 to/from London City have already been cancelled.
The LG-8019 4pm flight to Paris was cancelled, and it is now confirmed that the 6.50 pm LG-8020 from Paris has been cancelled.
Frankfurt, Munich and Amsterdam are also affected.
