One of the suspects of a 2025 Luxembourg homejacking, wanted on an international arrest warrant, was recently arrested. As first reported by the Luxemburger Wort on Monday, 28-year-old French national Chiranne Y. has been detained on the Thai island of Phuket. The public prosecutor's office confirmed the information to RTL.
In January, two men were arrested in Paris on the same international arrest warrant and extradited to Luxembourg.
On 27 October 2025, three men dressed as delivery couriers pretended to be dropping off flowers at the property. They threatened a Luxembourg couple from Eschweiler with a firearm and a knife and demanded €300,000. In the end, they made off with €9,000, a watch and credit cards.
