Police searched the Mertert area for suspected burglars on Monday morning. Shortly before 7am, officers reported that two suspects had been located and arrested.
The search began following an attempted break-in in Mertert earlier that morning. Police had asked members of the public not to offer lifts to anyone in the area while the operation was under way.
The operation has now ended.
