Spring 2019March and April too hot, May too cold

RTL Today
Weather statistics show that it did not rain enough in the Oesling region in the north of Luxembourg. In the southern and central parts of the Grand Duchy, however, it poured down too much.

The most recent weather statistics of Luxembourg's Administration of Agricultural Technical Services (Asta) are out and it seems like the weather's not doing what it should.

While March and April were marked by above average temperatures, May was too cold, which led to frost damages in the Moselle region.

According to Asta, it also rained too much in the central and southern parts of the country while there was not enough rainfall in the northern regions.

The report is based on statistics covering the period from 1 March until 31 May.
