There is excellent news this week for the pupils and teaching staff of Luxembourg’s Lycée Vauban school as it has been ranked the 10th best French school abroad by the educational support platform Averroès e-learning.
Thanks to its pupils’ excellent results, Vauban is the 6th best French lycée in Europe and the 10th worldwide. In addition to a 100% pass rate, the school also records one of the highest proportions of honours at the baccalauréat: 93.2%. Nearly 35% of its graduates achieved the distinction – très bien.
Vauban, which welcomes students from kindergarten to high school, has nearly 2600 students.
The top three in the ranking are Lycée Charles de Gaulle in London, the French Lycée of Barcelona and the French Lycée of Madrid.
