Juncker also fondly recalled the late Grand Duke's rather British sense of humour, stating that he had the "kind of British humour not even the British always understand."
The former Grand Duke died in the early hours of Tuesday, 23 April 2019, at the age of 98, with tributes continuing to pour in both nationally and internationally.
