In the early hours of Saturday, at around 4.45am, one person was seriously injured in a road accident between Burden and Bourscheid, according to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS).
In Mersch, two cars collided during the night from Friday to Saturday, leaving one person injured.
Another vehicle crashed on the motorway between Schifflange and Kayl, with one person also injured. A similar accident occurred on the Ban de Gasperich in Luxembourg City, though details remain scarce in all cases.
Two further people were injured in a collision between a car and a truck on the A4 motorway between Lallange and Lankelz shortly before 8am.
Only moments later, a final collision was reported – this time between two cars – on roe de l’Hippodrome in Luxembourg City, but fortunately nobody was injured here.
Meanwhile, in Soleuvre, a fire broke out in a house on Friday evening at around 10pm, leaving one person injured.
