A police patrol combed the district between Avenue de la Liberté and Place du Marché for the suspect. Their search was successful: officers quickly located a man with injuries on his hands. The suspect behaved aggressively towards the officers and attacked them.
After struggling to detain the drunk troublemaker, the officers eventually managed to handcuff him. The suspect kept resisting the officers on the way to the police car and kicked the vehicle with his feet.
After a quick medical check, the drunk culprit spent the rest of the night in a cell and slept it off.
Shortly after midnight, three men were attacked by a group of young men aged 18-22. The victims suffered injuries. Initial investigations indicate that the perpetrators were of dark skin colour. They also stole an iPhone and a cap. When the assailants also tried to steal a wallet, the victims resisted and managed to chase them away.
The three injured men were brought to the hospital.
