Good news for motorists in Luxembourg: the price of diesel is set to drop by five cents per litre as of Friday. Other fuel prices remain largely unchanged.
Following several adjustments in recent weeks, diesel prices are now trending downwards. From Friday, a litre of diesel will cost €1.840, representing a decrease of five cents.
This reduction follows a recent series of fuel price increases, particularly for diesel, which had crossed several price thresholds in recent days.
Prices for other petroleum products remain broadly stable. SP95 is holding at €1.854 per litre, while SP98 stays fixed at €1.968.
Diesel used for other purposes is also following the downward trend. Heating fuel will fall by 5.1 cents to €1.281 per litre for deliveries of 1,500 litres or more. The same applies to industrial, commercial, and agricultural diesel.
Fuels such as LPG and bulk propane remain unchanged.
This slight drop in diesel prices comes after a period of high volatility in energy markets, which remain closely linked to fluctuations in international prices.
