Further roadworks are due to start on Friday 7 June, this time affecting a stretch of the A4 motorway.

The roadworks on the A4 between the Foetz and Cessange interchanges will begin on Friday 7 June at 10pm and will end on Tuesday 11 June at 6am. The A4 will be closed in both directions, including exit and entrance ramps.

Traffic from Petange and the A13 as well as Raemerich in Esch-sur-Alzette will have to take a detour via the Esch-sur-Alzette junction and the A13 towards the Bettembourg interchange. An alternate route would be to follow the A3 and change onto the A1 or A6 at the Gasperich interchange.

Traffic from Merl and the A6, A1, and A4 motorways will follow a detour via the Gasperich interchange, the A3 towards the Bettembourg interchange, and finally over the A13 to the Esch-sur-Alzette junction.

Motorists from Foetz, Pontpierre, and Leudelange will have to follow detours over the N4 towards Gasperich.
