Police are investigating two car break-ins reported in Roodt-sur-Syre and Sprinkange, where unknown perpetrators targeted vehicles on Thursday afternoon.

On Thursday afternoon a car was broken into on Rue Aloyse Hoffmann in Roodt-sur-Syre. It is unclear what, if anything, was stolen.

In Sprinkange, on Rue de la Gare, a wallet was stolen from a car. Police have opened investigations in both cases.

In Ettelbruck, a patrol found a car parked in a delivery bay on Rue Prince Henri. Officers said they smelled cannabis during checks on the passengers. The driver later tested positive for drugs and was reported for driving under the influence.
