A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car on Tuesday morning in Mamer.
The collision happened on the N6, Route d'Arlon, near the A6 motorway interchange, and left a motorcyclist severely injured. He has been taken to hospital, but further information is not yet available.
As of 10am, CGDIS was still on site and police had cordoned off the area to allow the operation to proceed. Forensic police services were also dispatched.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area, as cars coming from Capellen cannot enter Mamer. Vehicles exiting the A6 toward the city cannot head to Capellen and must drive toward Mamer instead.
For the emergency services, that wasn't the only callout on Tuesday morning: at 7.11am there was a collision between two cars on Avenue du Dix Septembre in Belair, in which one person was injured. Luxembourg City responders were on scene.
Shortly after, there was a multi-vehicle crash on the A3 towards the city between the Bettembourg interchange and Livange. Two people were injured; teams from Dudelange, Bettembourg, and Esch handled the incident.
There was another accident between a car and a motorcycle on the RN04 between Leudelange and Cloche d'Or. One person was injured there as well. Responders from Leudelange, Luxembourg City, and Bettembourg attended to the scene.
