A new one-minute drop-off zone has been established directly in front of Luxembourg City's central train station, while the waiting area for pick-ups has been expanded at the P+R.

The Luxembourg National Railway Company (CFL) has introduced a new, dedicated short-stay parking zone directly in front of the Luxembourg City central station. The spaces are designed exclusively for drivers to drop off passengers and are not for waiting.

According to a CFL press release, parking in this new zone is strictly limited to one minute. This prevents motorists from using the area to wait for arriving train passengers.

The zone, which can accommodate up to four vehicles, is situated in front of the station's bicycle parking. It is clearly identified by vertical signage, green road markings, and safety posts.

For those who need to wait for passengers, the short-stay capacity at the P+R has been expanded. The number of spaces has been doubled from four to eight, with a maximum permitted stay of 30 minutes.

These waiting spaces are located outside the main P+R area, immediately to the right after the entrance barrier, and are marked with blue paint on the ground.
