On Thursday afternoon, police released an appeal for witnesses following the disappearance of a teenage boy earlier this week.

Abdul Omid Rashidzada is 15 years old and was last seen at around 11pm on Monday 8 September.

He is of slim build, around 1.70-1.80 metres tall and has black hair.
