After a tense match and penalty shootout, Portugal secured victory over their neighbour, currently considered one of the strongest teams in the world.

The win makes Portugal the first team to win the Nations League twice. The Seleção won the inaugural edition in 2019, followed by France in 2021 and Spain in 2023.

Supporters took to the streets of Luxembourg City in vehicles to celebrate the win.

As the Francofolies festival concluded nearby in Gaalgebierg Park, revellers and supporters also gathered in the streets of Esch-sur-Alzette for an evening of celebration.
