At around 5.45pm on Thursday evening, a cyclist collided with a pedestrian in Luxembourg City, resulting in injuries to both individuals.

Emergency responders from the capital, including firefighters, two ambulances, and the Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU), were promptly on the scene to provide aid.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) also reported two additional accidents on the same evening, each leaving one person injured. At 10.20pm, a motorcyclist fell on the CR226 between Itzig and Contern, and about 15 minutes later, a person was struck by a car on Boulevard Charles de Gaulle in Esch-sur-Alzette.
