83 drivers were checked by police on Tuesday evening as part of stricter controls, with seven delivering positive breathalyser results, though no licenses had to be revoked.
On Tuesday evening, the Grand Ducal police conducted checks on over 80 motorists on the road between Boevange-sur-Attert and Reckange as part of controls ordered by the public prosecutor's office. Seven drivers were found to be over the legal alcohol limit.
Three fines were issued to the culprits, although no licences were confiscated on this occasion.
