A worker suffered a severe workplace accident on Tuesday at a company in the Gadderscheier industrial zone in Soleuvre. The 49-year-old employee became trapped in a machine, sustaining critical injuries to the lower part of their body.
Emergency services provided first aid at the scene before transporting the victim to a hospital. Authorities have described the individual’s condition as life-threatening.
The incident prompted a response from the technical police and the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM). An investigation into the circumstances of the accident is now underway.
