After the other three officers suspected of police violence were already released from custody last week, the fourth officer has now also been set free. All four had been detained since July under suspicion of having assaulted a detainee at the Gare police station while on duty in May. All four are further suspected of having tried to cover up the incident.
None of the implicated officers are allowed to contact their colleagues, nor do they have the right to leave the country at present.
