A young man attracted attention at a petrol station in Leudelange in the early hours of Friday morning.
Reports suggest he was armed with a knife and acting aggressively at around 1.00am. He refused to cooperate with police and was subsequently immobilised.
A search revealed not only the knife, but an amount of hashish and cash as well. The public prosecutor was informed and a complaint filed.
Earlier in the night, two pedestrians were mugged by three young men in Ellergronn, Esch-sur-Alzette. One of the perpetrators threatened the victims with a pocket knife and succeeded in stealing two mobile phones, cash and a gold bracelet.
