On Saturday evening, an adolescent died and several people were injured in an accident that occurred between Lultzhausen and Eschdorf.

Shortly before 7pm on Saturday the 3rd of June, a motorist lost control over their car while undertaking a left turn, which led to a collision with the crash barrier and a roadside tree.

Four of the five passengers were reported to have sustained minor injuries. However, a 14-year-old boy succumbed to his severe wounds at the scene of the crash.

Emergency services transferred the injured to a nearby hospital. The prosecutor's office later sent a forensics team to the scene to determine the cause of the accident.
