The route will run three times a week, with departures from Luxembourg Airport.
The flights will be operated using Etihad’s A321LR aircraft, configured with three cabins, including First Suites and lie-flat Business class seats.
The new service is aimed at both business and leisure travellers and is expected to strengthen links between Luxembourg and the UAE. It also improves onward connectivity via Abu Dhabi to destinations across Asia and the wider region. Etihad Airways will be the first Middle Eastern airline to operate directly from Luxembourg; Luxembourgish airline Luxair has been operating direct flights to Dubai since 2021.
For Luxembourg, the route marks a notable expansion of its long-haul network and a new direct connection to the Middle East, a region previously only reachable via transfers.
