According to reports, the person fell from the bridge at around 5 p.m. just as a patrol boat from the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) was passing underneath.
The person came in contact with the ship’s propeller and suffered severe leg injuries, although their condition is not life-threatening. Emergency service teams treated the victim at the scene.
An enquiry into the accident has already been launched.
