The capital was rocked by chaotic anti-Covid protests on Saturday. Prime Minister Xavier Bettel had already announced several measures in response to the protests in Luxembourg City, which include identity checks and a strict perimeter.

Meanwhile, prosecutors await police reports to press charges against rioters.
