As of Wednesday, it is possible to book appointments at the Air Rescue vaccination centre at Findel airport.

Prime Minister Xavier Bettel announced in a tweet published on Wednesday morning that the expected delivery of 100,000 doses of the vaccine produced by Moderna has arrived in Luxembourg. The vaccination centre located inside the Air Rescue hangar at Findel airport will open its doors on Friday. It is already possible to book appointments at this vaccination centre via the website impfen.lu

Three vaccination centres are currently operational in Luxembourg. In addition to these official centres and numerous doctors' offices, people can also opt to get vaccinated at one of several pop-up vaccination centres that have been opened in the context of the government's vaccination week.

From Wednesday, the National Health Directorate will also sent out 57,000 invitations to get vaccinated, including to all those who have previously received the vaccine by AstraZeneca. The vaccination week runs until 12 December under the slogan 'Lëtzebuerg léisst sech impfen' ("Luxembourg gets vaccinated").
