Despite the warmer temperatures, Sunday was also marked by strong wind gusts.

Météolux predicted wind speeds of up to 50 km/h, which reached the Grand Duchy on Sunday afternoon and early on Monday morning. Several roads were blocked after trees were torn out by the wind.

The ACL motoring association announced that the CR332 between Lentzweiler and Eselborn is partially blocked. The same goes for the N27 between Neihaff and Insber. Although no new weather warnings have been issued for the day, strong wind gusts may still be expected until the early afternoon.

Drivers are thus advised to be careful on the roads, especially when taking a road through the woods.
