
The tests mainly concerned safety valves and verifying whether agricultural facilities had equipment which conformed to the legal framework. In total, the agencies examined the equipment of 61 facilities.
Initially, only 24 facilities passed the test and the remaining 37 received warnings from the Ministry of the Environment to ensure they would make sure their equipment would pass the test.
By April, all 61 facilities had passed the test.
The legal framework stated that slurry tanks and digestate tanks with pipes situated underneath the maximum filling level must be fitted with safety valves to prevent accidental leaks.
