Villa Vauban, 18, avenue Émile Reuter, L-2420 Luxembourg - Google Maps

If you work in the City and are looking to spice up your Friday lunch break, head down to the Villa Vauban gardens, where brass musicians from the Philharmonic Orchestra are playing a free, 30-minute set in the sunshine. Not sure it's appropriate to actually be nibbling on your sandwich if you sit at the front, but I'm sure you'll find a moment or two to tear into that baguette if you're on the grass further in the back. PS: In case of rain, concerts are moved to the Protestant Church.

To raise awareness of the evolution of town planning and the challenges of the future, the Kirchberg Fund invites the public to a series of guided tours. These tours are free, but registration is required by emailing info@fondskirchberg.lu or calling 26 43 45 10. This week's tour is in Luxembourgish.
