Rock University, a music school in Luxembourg, caters its courses specifically to its students, all under the slogan of 'Music Made in Luxembourg'.

Rock University is a music school unlike any other. The goal is not to simply play music, but to feel, and above all, personalise it. The teachers, who are passionate, professional musicians, set out to promote every talent as much as possible.

With specially adapted courses, they can respond to the individual needs and wishes of each student, which is also reflected in their results.

Every Friday, we introduce a new musician and their video with a personally covered song through RTL You. This week we present Thierry Proia with his cover of Lou Reed's hit song "Walk on the Wild Side".

1. In your eyes, is the Luxembourgish music industry in your eyes just as influential as abroad?

In my opinion,  the music industry is very influential, as I think that music is part of the culture of the Grand Duchy. You just have to walk around the city centre to see this, you will hear groups of traditional choirs or similar.

2. What instruments can you play?

I do love playing the guitar next to singing.

3. If you could go back five years and give yourself a piece of advice, what would it be?

To work harder, be more self-confident and to better listen to people close to me.
