At around 4am on Sunday morning, a serious accident unfolded on the CR104 from Goetzingen to Nospelt in western Luxembourg.

A car travelling toward Nospelt was forced to swerve to avoid an oncoming vehicle in the wrong lane, causing it to crash into a tree and overturn. The passenger was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

According to initial information, a car was driving toward him in the middle of the road, forcing the driver to take evasive action. In doing so, the man lost control of his vehicle. The car in the opposite lane is said to have been a Porsche 911 with Luxembourg licence plates.
