After setting a new 100m crawl record on Sunday, 22-year-old Ralph Daleiden Ciuferri set another record for the 200m race, thereby increasing his chances to enter into semi-finals.

At the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, which are taking place until 3 August, Luxembourg's Ciuferri set a new national record for the 200m crawl. The 22-year-old swimmer ended the crawl with a time of 1:47.74, beating his personal best by two seconds. He earned 25th place in the overall ranking, increasing his chances of a spot in the semifinals.

At Sunday's race, the swimmer had already set a new national record for the 100m crawl.
